Letter P
This week we focused on the letter "P". We introduced the Story of Polly Panda and demonstrated how to write the letter P by showing the students the sand paper letters as a large group. Students were each given their own workbook to practice the letter in, once finished they were able to draw pictures of things that start with the letter "P". Ask your child what Polly Panda's action is for the letter 'P'. (hint-painting)
Math
We have been learning how to sort materials into groups by size, shape, color and texture. We also used these materials to create AB repeating patterns. Ask your child what kind of pattern they made.
Gym
In Gym, we focused on our locomotor skills. Practicing movements such as jumping, hopping, galloping, skipping, etc. We also enjoyed the Terry Fox Run outside by walking around the entire field!
