  April 30     The  Colour  Blue     We focused on the  colour  Blue this week.  Ask your child what they drew that was blue.     Mindfulness     We had our last session about Mindfulness with Mrs. Pavey this week. We learned about what a Body Scan is and how to do Palm Breathing. Ask your child to demonstrate how to do these mindfulness practices and how they felt while doing them.      Kindergarten Assembly     We presented our Kindergarten Assembly today!  All 3 Kindergarten classes contributed to this event and worked hard to learn the songs and poems shared.      We have posted our Assembly slideshow in Google Classroom. You can gain access by signing into your child's Google Classroom account.   April 23     Letter  Qq     We did the letter  Qq  this week.  Ask your child what words they chose that start with the letter Qq.     We have now done all the letters of the alphabet.       Activity ideas to review the letters at home:     Alphabet Bingo   Alphabet Puzzles   Making letters with play dough and talking about their sounds   Match Uppercase and Lower Case letters   Spread letter cards throughout the room.  Can you go find me a ?
